Celebrities around the world have been generous in their efforts to raise awareness and give back to organizations that are providing much-needed relief to the victims of the Beirut explosion, which occurred last week on August 4.

Recently, Bella Hadid took to Instagram to share a list of charities she’s supporting and explained to her followers why it was important to do the research behind donating to a particular organization.

“It’s important to support organizations that prioritize helping those that need it the most and are clear about where donated funds are going, especially in the near term,” the supermodel wrote in the caption.

She listed Save The Children, UNICEF, International Medical Corp, Preemptive Love, and Lebanon Food Bank as five organizations, noting that she has supported them for years prior to last week’s tragic incident.

Bella has been one of the most vocal celebrities in encouraging fans to donate to Beirut relief efforts. George and Amal Clooney have also pledged $100,000 to three different initiatives based within Lebanon, while Madonna recently held an art sale to raise funds for non-profit organization Impact Lebanon. Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, DJ Khaled, and many other high-profile individuals have also revealed they will be supporting various charities giving back and providing relief to Beirut.
