The battle rounds have begun on The Voice, and Kelly Clarkson’s team members aren’t

going to make it easy for the newest coach to choose who moves on to the next stage

of the competition. In an exclusive preview of Monday night’s (March 19) episode of The

Voice, 14-year- old Brynn Cartelli and 21-year- old Dylan Hartigan battled it out in a high-

energy rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Ready for It” that clearly made Coach Kelly -- and the

other coaches --  proud.

As the two young powerhouses relay lyrics back and forth, Clarkson can’t help but

dance, cheer and stare in awe for the duration of the song. An equally impressed

judge Adam Levine can say only one word: “wow.”

Cartelli shocked the audience after revealing her age during the Season 14 blind

auditions, during which she gave a soulful performance of  “Beneath Your Beautiful”

by Labrinth feat. Emeli Sandé. She was a shoo-in for Clarkson’s team, stating that

the American Idol winner’s hit “Breakaway” sparked her interest in singing.

Former actor Hartigan won Clarkson’s heart with his heartfelt rendition of ‘Danny’s

Song’ by Messina. Although Clarkson was the only judge to turn her chair

around, Hartigan was thrilled to join her team.
