Kylie and Kendall Jenner are under fire after trying to sell a T-shirt line featuring the faces of late rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG.

Following in the footsteps of their big sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall & Kylie Jenner are trying to build an empire of their own in the fashion industry. After having launched make-up lines and clothing lines, the two young women are getting more and more recognition.

That’s why in an attempt to keep on offering original products, they imagined a T-shirt line featuring the faces of two legendary rap artists: Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. But the « tribute » was absolutely not well received by the public as the Jenners had the audacity to print their faces OVER the photos of the two rappers. Really, girls?

Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace soon got wind of the girl’s unfortunate idea and was not pleased, to say the least.

Voletta took to Instagram to express her disapointment and her anger and wrote : « This is disrespectful, disgusting and exploitation at its worst!!! ». But the story didn’t end here. Thursday, June 29th, Biggie’s estate lawyer Julian K. Petty demanded that the t-shirts be withdrawn from sale before Friday at 5 pm or the girls could face a lawsuit.

After being roasted for this poor fashion move, both Jenners apologized by tweeting this statement: « These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been and/or deeply offended, especially to the family of the artists. We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway. »
