According to reports, Ariana Grande has brought her entire European tour to a stop and has called off the concert at London which was to be held this Thursday(25 May) including performances at in Poland, Germany & Switzerland.
Reports also state that Ariana Grande might pause touring for a bit until she’s emotionally ready to revisit the touring schedule.
Pop star Ariana Grande is said to be in safe hands after an explosion took place, Monday night at the end of her concert at the Manchester Arena in UK. A police statement confirmed that at least 22 people lost their lives and nearly 60 were injured in the blast.
According to witnesses, the explosion happened just minutes after Grande completed her set, left the stage and the lights at the arena switched back on.
The explosion appeared to occur near an entrance where fans typically pick up tickets, an area where many parents were waiting after the concert to collect their children. Police cars and ambulances moved in and began evacuating bleeding concert patrons.
A video taken at the scene showed scenes of the devastated chaos. Many of those at the venue were youngsters or teenagers and most of them were with their parents and families. After the explosion, many children were separate from their families and had no idea where to go.
Later, Grande tweeted herself. “Broken,” she wrote. “From the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry. I don’t have words.”
Many celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, took it to social media to pay tribute tribute to fans who died at the show, with the latter describing how he was ‘heartbroken’.
