Here's one more reason to be jealous of the beautiful Selena Gomez! MTV just officially announced that the 19-year-old is set to host the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The singer/actress is totally psyched to host the ceremony that is taking place in Belfast, Ireland. She said:

"I'm so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs - it's a dream come true. This is such a huge event that always recognizes the biggest stars in music from across the globe, so it's a real honor to be MC (Master of Ceremonies) at this year's show."

The top nominees include Lady Gaga with six nominations, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars have four nods apiece. Adele, Selena's BF Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds to Mars are up for three awards each.

Selena herself is nominated for the "Biggest Fans" category. However, with all those hating Bielibers around, we think her chances are slim.

The 2011 MTV EMAs will air live November 6 and will air at MTV from 9pm.
