Drake will sit out this year’s Grammy Awards despite having eight nominations! According to Drake’s tour schedule, the hip-hop superstar will be performing in Manchester, England on February 12 which would make it impossible for him to participate at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Reports also state that their absence would not be in protest of the award show, but because they don't feel it is representative of the best new music.

Frank Ocean too has been public about his decision to sit out this year's Grammy Awards, despite making one of 2016's best albums with Blonde. 

Meanwhile, reports state that Justin Bieber and Kanye West will be missing Music’s Biggest Night. They have four and eight nominees, respectively.

West previously said he wouldn't if Ocean's Blonde wasn't nominated in any categories.
