Adele has addressed those persistent rumours that she married her boyfriend Simon Konecki in secret.

Performing on stage in Minnesota on Tuesday (July 5), the singer told fans (via The Sun) that she "might as well be married", but insisted she isn't.

"I would tell you if I did," she went on. "I wouldn't be able to contain myself. He simply hasn't proposed yet, so let's move on from that."

She has a 3-year old son, Angelo, with her partner.

Meanwhile, Adele also paid a unique tribute to Prince in his hometown during the show.

Saying she did not feel "worthy enough" to cover one of the late star's songs, she instead played a clip of 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World'.
