It’s sad news for Beliebers everywhere or at least the ones who spent up to $2,000 on meet-and-greet tickets for the "Purpose" tour, because Justin Bieber just announced that he will no longer be doing them.

"I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy," Justin wrote on Instagram on Tuesday night, captioning a photo of himself with a fan.

"Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression...The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders." He went on to say that he doesn't want to "disappoint" anyone, but all the energy-draining doesn't allow him to make the "Purpose" tour the best show he knows it can be.

According to other outlets, however, Justin's decision is less a result of mental exhaustion and more the consequence of overly enthusiastic fans getting too close to him.
