Lady Gaga premiered her highly-anticipated video for "Born This Way," the first single from her May 23 album of the same name, today (Feb. 28) at 11 am EST. Clocking in at nearly seven and a half minutes, "Born This Way" is more of a high-fashion short film than a conventional music video. As the clip opens, Gaga declares, "This is the manifesto of Mother Monster." She continues, describing the race she births as one "which bears no prejudice, no judgement, but boundless freedom." Gaga's opening narration sets the clip up as a battle between good and evil, with herself at the literal center of the fight.
