Sabrina Carpenter is making her major studio film debut in an upcoming musical inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, produced by Universal Pictures. She’ll lead as the titular Alice and serve as producer, while acclaimed filmmaker Lorene Scafaria will write and direct the project. The collaboration also includes veteran producer Marc Platt and Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton. Carpenter approached the studio in 2024 with her own concept, marking a milestone shift from her recent music-focused career.
