During his opening monologue as Saturday Night Live kicked off season 51, Bad Bunny addressed criticism about his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show headlining role part in English, part in Spanish.
He called his selection a win not just for himself, but for Latinos in the U.S., saying “our footprints and contribution in this country… no one will ever be able to take it away or erase it.” Then, in a pointed jab to critics, he quipped: “If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”
