Netflix’s breakout animated film KPop Demon Hunters is set to evolve into a sprawling franchise. As the platform's most-watched animated original, plans reportedly include two sequels, a live-action remake, a stage musical, and short films bridging the main features.

Co-directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans hinted that while the film works independently, there's plenty of untold story—such as Rumi’s demon heritage and Jinu’s fate—ripe for exploration.
