Ariana Grande is mourning the loss of her cherished grandmother, Marjorie “Nonna” Grande, who passed away peacefully at age 99. The pop star shared a heartfelt statement originally posted by her mother, Joan Grande, announcing the death of their family matriarch.

"Marjorie (Nonna) Grande passed away peacefully in her home and was surrounded by family and loved ones," the family shared, asking for privacy as they celebrate her “beautiful, extraordinary life.”

Ariana often expressed her deep bond with Nonna, frequently sharing moments together on social media. In November, she brought her to see Wicked, and in 2014, Nonna was her date to the VMAs.

Her brother Frankie Grande also honored their grandmother, praising her warmth, strength, and fierce love for family.
