Sabrina Carpenter might be headed to the Greek isles in the next Mamma Mia! installment. Franchise producer Judy Craymer hinted that the pop star could join the cast of the upcoming third film, calling her “a goddess” and suggesting she could play a character related to Meryl Streep’s iconic Donna. Though the film is still in development, a script is written and longtime cast members are open to new additions. Amanda Seyfried even said she’d be happy for Carpenter to play her daughter, saying, “I’m a big fan.” The buzz is growing for Carpenter’s musical movie debut.
