Rumors of the infamous Annabelle doll’s disappearance sent horror fans into a frenzy this week, but museum officials have confirmed the so-called "demonically possessed" doll is exactly where it belongs. The classic Raggedy Ann doll, which inspired the Annabelle horror franchise and appeared in The Conjuring, was said to have vanished during a stop on the “Devils on the Run Tour” in New Orleans.
Speculation intensified after visitors claimed they didn’t see the doll and a nearby fire at the Nottoway Resort in White Castle sparked supernatural theories. However, Dan Rivera, lead investigator for the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), debunked the rumors in a TikTok video. “Annabelle is not missing; she’s not in Chicago,” he said, showing the doll safely sealed in her wooden case at the Warrens’ Occult Museum.
NESPR also confirmed her location on Facebook, reassuring fans that the haunted doll hasn't escaped—this time.
