KENDRICK LAMAR’S ‘NOT LIKE US’ MAKES HISTORY ON THE RAP CHARTS

Kendrick Lamar’s explosive Drake diss track “Not Like Us” has shattered records and expectations alike. What began as a lyrical takedown has now become the longest-charting rap song in history, according to the NFR Podcast, with a 53-week streak on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard has confirmed the run, though it stops short of declaring it the longest ever. On the Hot Rap Songs chart, however, “Not Like Us” reigns supreme—spending 26 of those weeks at No. 1.

The Grammy-sweeping single earned five trophies in 2025, including Song and Record of the Year. Produced by Mustard, the track remains a cultural juggernaut, currently sitting at No. 23 on the Hot 100.

Adding to the legacy, Lamar’s collaboration with SZA, “Luther,” just tied her own record with 21 weeks at No. 1, making Lamar the current king of the Hot Rap Songs chart.
