Carey Hart has publicly apologised to wife Pink after suffering a serious motocross injury during practice. The former pro rider, 49, shared details of the incident in an Instagram post on Saturday, thanking Pink for her unwavering support.

“A huge thanks to @pink,” Hart wrote. “As always does in these situations w/ me, she steps up and takes charge at the hospital. Sorry to put you through this, yet again.”

Hart revealed he crashed during a jump on Thursday, saying, “Welp, I ran out of talent. Landed off a jump, bars knifed, and took the bar to the gut.” The impact reportedly severed his small intestine from his colon.

The post included photos from the hospital, including one showing over 20 staples across his abdomen.

Despite the injury, Hart assured fans he is doing “fine” and expects to make a full recovery.
