South African pop sensation Tyla is set to host the 2025 Kids' Choice Awards, making history as the first African pop star to lead the iconic event. The show will take place on 21 June in Santa Monica, California.

Tyla is also up for two awards herself—Favourite Global Music Star and Favourite Music Collaboration—further cementing her breakout global success.

This year’s top nominees include Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar, each with four nods. Following closely behind with three nominations are Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, Selena Gomez, and Jelly Roll.

First-time nominees include Gracie Abrams, Zach Bryan, Chappell Roan, Florence Pugh, and Shohei Ohtani. Grande, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and SZA are among the stars contending for Favourite Female Artist, while Drake, The Weeknd, and Bad Bunny lead the Favourite Male Artist category.

The star-studded night promises music, movies, slime—and Tyla at the helm.
