Enrique Iglesias sliced his fingers as he attempted to grab a drone while performing on stage.

Iglesias suffered the bloody injury while performing in Tijuana, Mexico last night (May 30) and received medical attention at the side of the stage before continuing the show for another 30 minutes. 

A representative for the singer told The Associated Press that the injury occurred because "something went wrong" with the concert's drone.

The statement reads: "During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a point of view shot. 

"Something went wrong and he had an accident. He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show.

"He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to LA to see a specialist."
