Justin Bieber is grieving the loss of his beloved grandfather, Bruce Dale, who passed away on April 24 at the age of 80. In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on April 26, Bieber honored his "Papa" with a touching tribute and a throwback photo from 2009.

"Papa, I always took all ur money lol," Bieber wrote, recalling childhood memories of convincing his grandfather to buy him snacks at hockey games. He fondly remembered Dale’s playful heckling of referees, writing, "I know ur watching down probly still heckling Beatty or Fagon."

Fans quickly flooded the comments with love and support, offering prayers and condolences. "Sending my prayers," one wrote. "Praying for you," added another.

Bruce Dale passed peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth. He leaves behind his wife Diane, children including Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette, and grandchildren — among them, the global pop star himself.
