Daddy Yankee is seeking to dissolve multiple business ventures he once shared with ex-wife Mireddys González Castellanos. The reggaeton icon—real name Ramón Ayala Rodríguez—filed a petition citing “deep personal differences” and “a complete lack of communication,” making continued collaboration impossible.
The couple, who finalized their divorce in February after 30 years of marriage and professional partnership, have been embroiled in a bitter split. Rodríguez previously removed Castellanos from her managerial role in December, alleging serious irregularities.
According to Rolling Stone, some companies have already been dissolved, but the new petition targets those Castellanos still controls. Rodríguez’s legal team has requested the court close all remaining joint ventures “in a structured and legal manner.”
Tensions escalated in March when Rodríguez sued Castellanos and her sister, Ayeicha, accusing them of financial mismanagement and defamation—claiming $100 million was improperly withdrawn from company accounts.
