Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations for the 2025 American Music Awards, scoring a staggering 10 nods. The Not Like Us rapper, already a three-time AMA winner, is nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Favourite Hip-Hop Album for GNX. His hit Not Like Us earned him Song of the Year and Favourite Music Video, while his collab with SZA, Luther, landed a spot in Collaboration of the Year.
In a rare feat, Lamar also secured three nominations in the Favourite Hip-Hop Song category with Not Like Us, Luther, and Like That with Metro Boomin. If he sweeps all eight categories, he could tie the record for most wins in a single year.
Post Malone trails with eight nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey earned seven. Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the AMAs will air live from Las Vegas on 26 May.
