Playboi Carti’s new album MUSIC is making headlines, and not just for its star-studded features. A lyric from his track “FINE SHIT” references Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand: “I bought that ho a lot of clothes, but she love her Skims.” Kim seemingly approved, posting a screenshot of herself listening to the track.

Carti then took things a step further, asking Kim to have North West send him a song. That didn’t sit well with Kanye West, who reportedly responded, calling it “too far.” North, who has been showcasing her musical talent, has already released songs online, but Ye’s reaction makes it clear he’s protective of her involvement.

Despite speculation, Ye does not appear on MUSIC, which features Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar. With the album set to hit No. 1, Carti’s comments are adding fuel to the ongoing tension between him, Kim, and Ye.
