Internationally acclaimed Grammy nominee Aloe Blacc arrived in Sri Lanka at the invitation of the Government and Sri Lanka Tourism, marking a significant visit that extends beyond his music career. Welcomed by Senior Adviser to the President Prof. Gomika Udugamasooriya at Bandaranaike International Airport, Blacc expressed his excitement to explore the country's investment opportunities, particularly in biotechnology, tourism, and agriculture.

Blacc highlighted his interest in collaborating with the Sri Lankan Government and the National Initiative for Research and Development Commercialisation (NIRDC) to promote growth. His visit includes meeting with local entrepreneurs and exploring Sri Lanka's cultural heritage, including Sigiriya and Minneriya. Blacc, known for his hits like I Need a Dollar and Wake Me Up, blends music with entrepreneurship, notably through his biotech company Major Inc., focusing on pandemic prevention solutions.
