After winning the Rising Star award in 2023, Doechii is only the third artist to move from this honor to the top award, following Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Her Grammy win for Best Rap Album in February 2025 for her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal further solidified her position in the industry.
