Zendaya is bringing her star power to the swamp! The in-demand actress has been cast as Felicia, Shrek and Fiona’s daughter, in Shrek 5, set for release on December 23, 2026. Universal and DreamWorks Animation teased her role in a recent cast announcement.

The film marks the return of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy as Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey. Directed by Shrek veterans Walt Dohrn, Conrad Vernon, and Brad Ableson, the sequel is the first in the main series since Shrek Forever After (2010).

Zendaya’s packed schedule includes Dune: Messiah, Euphoria Season 3, and a fourth Spider-Man film. Her involvement in Shrek 5 adds fresh energy to the beloved franchise, which has earned $2.9 billion globally.
