Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan are stepping into Middle-earth for the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Bower joins as a series regular, while Marsan takes on a recurring role. Production begins this spring at Shepperton Studios in the UK.

Bower, widely recognized as Vecna from Stranger Things, previously stated he wanted to step away from villainous roles, saying, “I just don’t think I’ll be doing another bad guy for a minute.” His role remains undisclosed. Marsan’s character, codenamed Dromm, reportedly has a brother and requires a Scottish accent, hinting he may play a dwarf.

Bower, known for Twilight, Harry Potter, and Sweeney Todd, adds another major franchise to his resume. Meanwhile, Marsan, an acclaimed character actor, is set to bring his talents to the expansive world of The Rings of Power, which continues to grow its star-studded cast.
