A$AP ROCKY'S LAWYER CLARIFIES RIHANNA'S COURT APPEARANCE WITH KIDS AMID FELONY CASE
Wednesday, 26 February 2025
A$AP Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, recently addressed claims that Rihanna brought their two children to court as a “ploy” to garner sympathy during Rocky's felony shooting case. On The Breakfast Club, Tacopina clarified that Rihanna brought 2-year-old RZA and 1-year-old Riot Rose to court on the trial's last day because it could have been the last time Rocky saw his kids for many years, had he been convicted. He emphasized that the jury, already aware of Rocky’s family, wasn't swayed by such gestures. Rocky faced up to 24 years in prison for a 2021 incident involving former friend A$AP Relli, who accused him of shooting at him. Rocky had rejected a plea deal and was ultimately found not guilty. Tacopina also shared that while Rocky was protective of Rihanna, she insisted on attending the trial, saying nothing would stop her from being there.
