Netflix has officially renewed XO, Kitty for a third season, following the success of Season 2, which premiered on January 16. Lead actress Anna Cathcart, who plays Kitty, received the renewal news on Valentine’s Day. Showrunner Jessica O'Toole teased that Season 3 will pick up from the Season 2 cliffhanger, where Kitty impulsively joins Min Ho (Sang Heon-lee) on a summer trip with his family. O'Toole promised plenty of romance, adventure, and "lots of kissing" in the new season, which will also include a summer episode. XO, Kitty Season 2 debuted strongly, landing at #2 on Netflix’s English TV list with 14.2 million views, even boosting the popularity of Season 1 and the To All the Boys film series. The release date for Season 3 is yet to be announced.
