It sounds like the new Wuthering Heights adaptation has stirred up some intense reactions! Given how iconic and passionate the fanbase is around the novel, I’m not too surprised that the teaser poster received a lot of attention. The imagery of a man’s fingers seductively placed in a woman’s mouth certainly raises eyebrows, and not in a subtle way, especially given the stormy, intense nature of the relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine in the original story.

The choice to cast Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie is interesting too, as they bring a lot of star power, but it might also set expectations very high.
