Cameron Diaz, 52, has made her return to acting in Back in Action, a Netflix action-comedy with Jamie Foxx, her first film since 2014. In an interview, she shared that it’s "hard to say" if she’s fully returning to acting, as she’s open to opportunities that align with her family life. Diaz explained that after taking a decade-long break to focus on her wine company, Avaline, and raising her children, the offer from Foxx was too good to pass up. Diaz also said she’s done with rom-coms, preferring "momcoms" going forward. Her husband, Benji Madden, encouraged her to return to acting, and Diaz admitted feeling a bit rusty but excited. Back in Action was released on Netflix on January 17, and Diaz is also set to return for Shrek 5, now scheduled for December 2026.
