JUSTIN BALDONI APOLOGIZES TO BLAKE LIVELY IN VOICE NOTE AMID ONGOING LEGAL DISPUTE OVER
Wednesday, 29 January 2025
Amid an ongoing legal dispute, Justin Baldoni reportedly apologized to Blake Lively in a voice note after they discussed changes she made to a scene in It Ends with Us. Lively had allegedly made tweaks to the rooftop scene, and though Baldoni initially responded poorly, he later expressed regret in a nearly 7-minute audio message. He apologized for falling short, praised Lively’s contributions, and thanked her for sharing her feelings. Baldoni acknowledged his flaws and vowed to do better. The exchange was part of Baldoni’s $400 million defamation countersuit against Lively, who accused him of sexual harassment during filming—claims Baldoni denies. As the legal battle continues, Baldoni’s lawyer plans to launch a website to share correspondence and videos that challenge Lively’s accusations. The trial is scheduled to start on March 9, 2026, with a pretrial conference set for February 3, 2025.
