James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash, set for release on December 19, 2025, will continue the franchise's epic journey on Pandora. Following the success of Avatar and The Way of Water, which grossed over $5 billion, the threequel will feature a new Na'vi clan—the Ash People, led by Varang. Cameron hints at exploring more negative sides of the Na'vi, contrasting with their previous portrayal as peaceful beings. The film will showcase volcanic regions, with a potential Na'vi vs. Na'vi conflict. Returning cast members include Sam Worthington (Jake Sully), Zoe Saldaña (Neytiri), Sigourney Weaver (Kiri), and Kate Winslet (Ronal). New cast members Oona Chaplin and David Thewlis will portray Varang and Peylak. Lo'ak (Britain Dalton) will replace Jake Sully as the narrator, with Cameron promising deeper character development and emotional depth in this installment.
