The wait for the highly anticipated Season 2 is almost over, as it’s set to arrive on December 26. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk expressed relief that the stressful pre-release period is nearly done, as it involved extensive promo work like traveling, red carpet appearances, and interactive events.

Despite the excitement, Hwang admitted he’s exhausted and ready for a break. “I’m so tired. I’m so sick of Squid Game,” he said. He’s now looking forward to some personal time, away from the constant calls from Netflix.
