The 82nd Golden Globe Awards nominations have been announced, with major contenders in both film and television.

Best Film – Drama includes The Brutalist, Dune: Part Two, and Nickel Boys, while Anora and Wicked lead the Best Film – Musical or Comedy category.

In acting, Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl) and Kate Winslet (Lee) are nominated for Best Female Actor in a Drama, while Adrien Brody (The Brutalist) and Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice) are contenders for Best Male Actor. Best Director nominations include Jacques Audiard (Emilia Pérez) and Brady Corbet (The Brutalist).

For television, The Day of the Jackal and Squid Game vie for Best TV Series – Drama, while Abbott Elementary and Only Murders in the Building are up for Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy.

Viola Davis will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award. The ceremony takes place on January 5, 2025.
