Selena Gomez is standing in Ariana Grande's corner as the "Wicked" actress addresses rumors surrounding her romance with co-star Ethan Slater.

Ariana recently slammed "disreputable evil tabloids" for distorting details of her relationship with Ethan and defending his character, telling Vanity Fair: “There couldn’t be a less accurate depiction of a human being than what the tabloids spread about him.”

In support, Selena commented "AMEN" with clapping emojis on a Dec. 4 Instagram post quoting Ariana’s statement.

Ariana, 31, and Ethan, 32, began dating in 2023 after splitting from their respective spouses. Despite the timeline, tabloids stirred controversy, which Ariana said created “a tough ride.” Reflecting on her journey, she noted the challenges of navigating fame since her teens but affirmed, “I’m proud of who I’m becoming.”

She also praised Ethan, calling him someone with "a better heart" and unwavering dedication to loved ones.
