The prestigious honor, awarded to Europe's best under-21 player, was presented by Italian newspaper *Tuttosport*. Yamal triumphed over Real Madrid’s Arda Güler and PSG’s Warren Zaire-Emery. The young winger had a stellar year, starring in Spain's Euro 2024 triumph. He was named Young Player of the Tournament, setting records as the youngest to play and score in the competition, with a crucial semifinal goal against France. Yamal also secured the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or ceremony and helped Spain defeat England 2-1 in the Euro final.
