The Music Venue Trust (MVT) and Save Our Scene (SOS) have teamed up to launch the Liveline Fund, a new initiative supporting grassroots music venues and independent promoters across the UK. Coldplay kickstarted the fund by pledging 10% of their proceeds from upcoming stadium shows in Wembley and Hull. Additional donations from concert promoters, venues, and ticketing agents will ensure maximum support for the grassroots music ecosystem.  Kickers, the iconic UK footwear brand, also contributed to Liveline as part of their commitment to preserving grassroots venues. The fund will allow venues and promoters to apply for support through an open application process managed by MVT.  SOS, founded during the COVID-19 lockdown, brings fans' voices to the forefront of live music advocacy. Together with MVT, they aim to safeguard the UK’s live music scene by fostering talent and addressing industry challenges through collaborative action and transparent funding.
