Shakira is making waves with her upcoming world tour, recently setting a new record by becoming the first woman to sell out five consecutive shows at Mexico City's GNP Seguros Stadium (formerly Foro Sol). This achievement surpasses Taylor Swift's previous record of four consecutive sold-out shows at the same venue during her Eras Tour. Due to overwhelming ticket demand, Shakira has postponed the North American leg of her tour to shift from arenas to larger stadiums. Expressing her excitement on Instagram, she wrote, “I’m so excited to share my best show yet with you. Thank you all for supporting and inspiring me to keep pushing myself. I can’t wait to celebrate with you in May!” Originally scheduled for four performances, Shakira added a fifth show in response to the tremendous interest. Her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is named after her latest album, released in March.
