Simone Biles Downplays Controversy Over Missed Inquiry at Paris Olympics

Simone Biles has addressed recent controversy over a missed inquiry that could have awarded her a 12th Olympic gold. Footage from the Netflix series *Simone Biles: Rising* shows that a potential adjustment to her floor exercise score was overlooked by judges, despite a timely submission of an inquiry by Team USA coach Cecile Landi. Biles, who scored 14.133 with a 6.9 difficulty rating, could have surpassed Brazil's Rebeca Andrade’s winning score of 14.166 if her inquiry had been processed. Biles, however, remains gracious, stating on X that the results are not a big deal for her and expressing admiration for Andrade’s performance. She emphasized her support for Jordan Chiles, who was initially awarded a bronze but had it stripped due to a late submission of her own inquiry. Biles advocates for Chiles and seeks justice for her friend.
