Lady Gaga has announced that the lead single from her highly anticipated seventh studio album will be released in October. The 38-year-old pop icon, whose last album *Chromatica* came out in 2020, shared the news via Instagram. The post featured an image of a piece of stationery from the Hotel Cipriani in Venice, where Gaga has been attending the film festival. The stationery revealed a schedule of Gaga’s events, including a Warner Brothers dinner and the premiere of *Joker: Folie à Deux*. The most intriguing part of the itinerary was the note for October, listing "LG7 first single" as an important date, hinting at the upcoming release. This announcement follows Gaga’s recent surprise single, "Die With a Smile," a collaboration with Bruno Mars. The duet was confirmed as a standalone release and not part of the forthcoming album.
