Britney Spears has quashed rumors of a biopic in the works, revealing instead that she's developing a "fictional musical." Reports had circulated since early August that Spears was collaborating with producer Marc Platt and Wicked director Jon Chu to create a film based on her memoir, *The Woman In Me*. However, Spears took to social media to clarify that the secret project is not a biopic but a musical, in which she'll portray "an extremely intelligent character." Spears also confirmed Jon Chu's involvement but kept further details under wraps. *The Woman In Me*, released recently, has been a massive success, selling over 2.5 million copies in the U.S. alone. The audiobook, narrated by Michelle Williams with an introduction by Spears, has become the fastest-selling in Simon & Schuster's history. The memoir includes several personal revelations, including her experience of having an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
