Taylor Swift is set to release her debut novel, titled *A Girl Called Girl*. The book, written when she was just 14, centers on a mother who wished for a son instead of a daughter. Swift, who recently finished the European leg of her Eras Tour, originally trademarked the story about a decade ago but has now updated her trademark to include merchandise and audio versions. Swift has long expressed her desire to write, sharing that she was inspired during her tour when she had time to reflect. "I had this epiphany; I'm going to be a novelist," she said. The 34-year-old star is currently taking a break from her tour, reportedly relaxing at her Rhode Island holiday home with boyfriend Travis Kelce. Swift will resume her Eras Tour in Canada this November. Additionally, she's working on re-recording her 2017 album *Reputation*.
