'Mamma Mia 3' is Officially in the Works
Christine Baranski has confirmed that "Mamma Mia 3" is officially in development. The actress, who portrayed Tanya Chesham-Leigh in the beloved musical films, revealed the news during a recent interview. According to Baranski, she was with producer Judy Kramer in London when Kramer shared details about the plotline for the upcoming sequel.

Baranski praised Kramer, noting her successful track record with the previous films, and expressed confidence that Kramer will once again bring the project to fruition. The original "Mamma Mia," released in 2008, starred Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep and followed Sophie’s quest to find her father by inviting three potential candidates to her wedding. The sequel, "Mamma Mia 2," released in 2018, explored Donna’s past with Lily James as the younger Donna. Both films featured popular songs by ABBA.
