Lively explained that she and Reynolds often collaborate on each other's projects, blending their creative efforts. Hall admitted that while she aimed to stay true to Colleen Hoover’s original novel, she recognized a few “flourishes” in the final cut that weren’t part of her script but praised the additions. Another scene, where a character humorously references a Creed song, also caught Hall’s attention, leaving her curious if Reynolds had a hand in that as well. *It Ends With Us* hit theaters on August 9.
