Lewis Capaldi and Ellie McDowell Split After Two Years

Sabrina Carpenter revealed she was "completely alone" in pushing for the release of her hit single "Espresso." Released on April 11, the track topped charts in the UK and 15 other countries, amassing a billion streams on Spotify. Carpenter told Variety that while her immediate team supported her, higher-ups had doubts. Ultimately, they trusted her vision, and their faith paid off.

Island Records co-CEO Imran Majid praised Sabrina's instincts and creative vision, calling her an inspiration. Adele also expressed her love for the song, describing it as her "jam" and resonating with its lyrics about working late. During her vocal rest, Adele was frustrated she couldn't sing along to "Espresso," but she has been making up for lost time since recovering.

Sabrina humorously responded to Adele's praise, quipping, "All I read was Adele thinks about me in bed."
