Will Smith Announces First Album in Nearly 20 Years

Will Smith has announced a new album, his first in nearly two decades. In an interview with Black Film Allies, Smith shared that he's been in the studio for the past year and a half working on a deeply personal project. Titled "Dance in Your Darkest Moments," the album focuses on finding joy even in tough times. Although the official release date and title haven't been confirmed, an Instagram page and website under the same name are under development, promoting a message of self-exploration and acceptance. Smith, now 55, recently performed a new song, "You Can Make It," at the BET Awards, which has reached number 14 on the Gospel Songs chart. He also previewed a new collaboration with Russ, "Work of Art," set for release this Friday. Earlier this year, Smith released "Light Em Up" with Sean Paul for the "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" soundtrack. His last album, "Lost and Found," came out in 2005.
