AJ Tracey Teases Major Collaborations on Upcoming Album
AJ Tracey has announced that his third album, set for release later this year, will feature some major collaborations. Speaking on Capital XTRA, the "Ladbroke Grove" rapper confirmed that the album is nearly finished. While emphasizing that the album is primarily about his own artistry, he praised the featured artists for their contributions. "It's not all about the features. It's about me, actually," AJ explained. "But the features killed it."

AJ emphasized that the collaborations were chosen for their sonic fit rather than popularity. "It's more about making sure the sound is cohesive and that people can feel the fun we had making it," he added. The album, inspired by his British upbringing, incorporates elements of grime, funky, and dancehall, reflecting his influences as a black British artist. AJ describes the theme as "what it means to be British," promising a vibrant and personal exploration of his heritage and musical roots.
