Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, hinted at retiring from music in a recent text to Rich The Kid. On July 9, Rich The Kid shared an alleged text from Ye stating, "I am retiring from professional music. Not sure what else to do." Rich The Kid responded, urging him not to retire, emphasizing their significant impact on culture and suggesting a break instead. The rapper deleted the text exchange from his Instagram Story shortly after posting it, leaving fans shocked and speculating. Some believe the message might be a marketing tactic for Ye's next project. Rich The Kid later announced his album Life's A Gamble will drop on July 19, featuring Ye on two tracks. Over his two-decade career, Ye has amassed 157 Hot 100 entries.
