She hinted that the emotional song, which brings her to tears, reflects the unresolved issues between her and Jesy, who left Little Mix in December 2020. Perrie admitted they no longer communicate, expressing sadness over the lost friendship. When asked about reconciliation, she remained open but uncertain, especially after the song's release. Jesy, 33, has also been involved in musical feuds with her former bandmates, with Little Mix's 2021 song "Cut You Off" appearing to target Jesy after her exit.
